Our Policies

Ajijic Suites is a Smoke Free environment! We thank you for respecting this policy.
Ajijic Suites is pet friendly for well-behaved, healthy & well groomed pets. Requests to be accompanied by pets must be approved by Management at time of reservation and will be considered on a case by case basis. A charge will be made for additional cleaning, dependent upon the length of stay & size of suite. This will be agreed at the time of reservation. In the unfortunate event that a pet is disruptive, or aggressive, to other guests, the reservation will be terminated without refund. We welcome well behaved children over the age of 10 years; however, our premises & ambience are not appropriate for younger guests.


All rates are per suite with up to 2 adults.
Extra person charge will apply for third adult, child or pets.
Children and pets are considered on a case by case basis.
Long term guests’ suite preferences take precedence over those of short stay guests, & we reserve the right to re-allocate suites to short-term guests to accommodate long-term guests’ reservation requirements.

Check-in/Check-out
Check in after 2:00 p.m. to enable us time to get your suite clean and ready.
Check out by 11:00 a.m. so we have time to prepare the suite for new guests. By arrangement, this time may be extended.
Please let us know as soon as possible if special arrangements need to be made to accommodate early or late check-in/check-out.

RESERVATIONS

We are a small hotel, and most of our business comes through reservations made on this website. In order to secure your reservation, we require the following:

IF STAYING for less than 7 DAYS: full payment of your reservation must be received at the time of booking and prior to your arrival.

IF STAYING for more than 7 DAYS: 50% of payment is due at time of booking, with the balance due (in cash) on arrival in either US$ currency, US$ Travellers Checks or $MXN pesos. We are unable to process payments using a debit or credit card, except via PayPal.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
We cannot be held responsible for travel delays, health issues, inclement weather or early departures. You may want to consider taking out travel or holiday insurance to protect yourself against these potential despoilers of your trip. Because we are a small establishment, cancellations affect us greatly. Whilst we sympathise with you in the event that any of these issues should occur, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.

Should you cancel your reservation, after it has been confirmed, you will forfeit your deposit in full. Guests are also responsible for the payment of ALL nights reserved, regardless of actual arrival or departure dates. At Management’s discretion, a proportional refund may be made, depending upon the circumstances. There will be no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Cancellations must be made by email. We cannot accept cancellations by phone. The only exception to this policy is if we are able to re-rent the suite for the same time period, in which case we will offer a 75% refund.
